On the warm summer evening of July 27, 2019, in Philadelphia, poetry met jazz in the beautiful main ballroom of the GHS of Philadelphia. This fundraiser event featured 2 super talented jazz bands, Glenn Bryan & Friends and Geno Marriott & the Spirit of Jazz, as well as the sultry, soulful, soloist LivBritt and 10 creative spoken word artists. Our members, supporters and friends enjoyed an evening of dinner, live music, and poetry. It was a lovely affair. The evening ended with one of our special guests winning an incredible basket of Eagles tailgating gear.
